VISUAL CARB COMPARISONS

As you know, we need to do careful portion contol with our carbohydrates.

I thought it would be interesting to see just what some of those carbohydrates looked like on a plate.

I have used the same platter for all of the photographs of pasta and rice and grain, nuts, and the “Decadent “skinny” slaw.

ONLY THE PICTURE OF THE PASTA AND GRAINS REFLECT A RECOMMENDED PORTION SIZE. NO ONE REALLY COULD OR SHOULD EAT THAT MUCH NUTS OR SLAW IN ONE SITTING.

 

 

These are reccomended serving sizes of Pasta, Rice and Beans 30-40 g. of carbohydrates per serving

Skinny Slaw
This entire plate is 15g. carbohydrates
Who could ever eat the whole amount?

Almonds and walnuts 15 g. carbohydrates for more than you can ever eat at one time
