The Creamsicle

(A hot summer day, running through the sprinkler, that was us!)

 

Net carbohydrates     6-12grams depending on the milk product

Notes: This is so simple it is almost embarrassing to include in my book.

The Hardest part for me was to find the POP molds. I found several different ones at BED BATH AND BEYOND

8- ounces Trop 50 Orange Juice (I like the some pulp variety)

8- ounces cream or half & half or milk**

Equivalent of 4 teaspoons sugar substitute.

How to prepare this recipe:

Combine all ingredients and pour into pop molds. Freeze.

It helps to dip the pop mold into hot tap water when removing the pop from the mold.

** Using cream or half and half, has the least number of carbohydrates. As you go down in fat content, the carbohydrate content goes up.
